Yes. There are no long-term contracts. Monthly plans can be cancelled before the next billing date and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Annual plans are non-refundable once the year begins, but you're never locked into renewing.
Yes. Your book content is only used to generate your tools, and it is never shared with other users or used to train AI models. The Teleprompter Studio records video entirely in your browser, so your footage never touches Royal Author's servers. Your content stays yours.
None at all. Royal Author is built for authors, not developers. Every tool runs in the browser, there is nothing to install, and no code to write. If you can copy and paste, you can use every feature on the platform.
Royal Author currently supports Word documents (.docx) and plain text. PDF support is coming shortly. If your book is in a different format, the onboarding team will help you get it set up correctly.
Yes. You can upgrade at any time from within your account. When you upgrade mid-cycle, you pay only the difference for the remaining days in your billing period. Your book, settings, and any saved content carry over automatically to the new plan.
